Sandhya on Instagram: "📍Kashi karvat mandir Kashi Karvat, as mentioned in the Puranams, is one of the 7 places in India where devotees offered their lives to attain Mukti. It is said there was a wood cutter (Karvat) attached to this linga until about 250 years ago. People would travel to Kashi from far off places, surviving through carnivores and other life threatening situations. After arriving, they would have their skull cut through right in the middle and bleed unto death and attain Mukti.
