Mary Pope Osborne is the author of “Magic Tree House,” a best-selling children’s book series. Osborne lectured to UNC students on April 10 at McCorkle Place, as many huddled together in the rain. This event was a part of the Class of 2025’s Senior Week. The “Magic Tree House” books take brother and sister duo, Jack and Annie, on adventures around the world in their teleporting treehouse.
