Last night, members from #FDNYRobotics operated at a 5-alarm fire at 1750 University Avenue in the Bronx. The unit deployed two drones which allowed the incident commander to view real time footage of the operation from an overhead viewpoint. The drones also have thermal capabilities which allow them to pin point pockets of fire which may not be visible from the street level or a tower ladder. | New York City Fire Department (FDNY)
