🔹 CFM in HVAC (Cubic Feet per Minute) In HVAC design, CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) is the measure of airflow rate – how much air passes through a space or duct in one minute. It plays a vital role in comfort, cooling, heating, and ventilation. ✨ Formula: 👉 CFM = Velocity (FPM) × Area (ft²) 🔸 Example: • Room Size = 12 × 10 × 9 ft → Volume = 1080 ft³ • Required ACH = 6 • CFM = (ACH × Volume) / 60 = 108 CFM ⸻ ✨ Quick Conversions: • 1 CFM = 0.472 L/s = 1.699 m³/h • 100 CFM = 47.2 L/s = 169.9 m³/h
