SHIN SPLINTS ARE NOT A SHIN PROBLEM! "Say WHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAATT?!?!!?" TRUTH: If your ankle doesn't bend correctly, your shin will feel the stress every time your foot hits the ground. With that being said, the first step of the corrective exercise process is NOT to get the ankle to bend better. Before we do that, we really need to do whatever we can to get our shin to feel better. Think about how you deal with pain for a second. We do whatever we can to AVOID it. This means if we have shin pain
