Yesterday we rescued four special dogs from Long Beach Shelter. Friend and Zoey were well loved by an unhoused man who finally got into a program where he could live under a roof. Unfortunately, pets were not allowed to live there. He did not want them to spend one minute in the shelter, so we planned our pick up for a direct transfer into our care at the time of his drop off.
