CDFW’s Conserve The Sturg outreach is a two-part effort to inform anglers about sustainable white sturgeon angling practices and build stewardship for the species. To support stewardship across all ages, CDFW provides education about the species, including their life history, ecology and key characteristics. Efforts include interactive sturgeon displays, educational talks coined as Sturgeon Sessions, informational videos, and integration of sturgeon content into the department’s Fishing in the C
