The Ministry of Health and Social Services has launched the country’s first National Digital Health Policy for the period 2026–2036. The policy is a blueprint that will define the next decade of digital innovations in the delivery of healthcare services in the country. While launching the policy, the minister, Dr. Esperance Luvindao, described digital health as the use of technology to help people stay healthy, prevent disease, and access medical care more easily.
