Ecobee room sensors (and SmartSensors) have a "Follow Me" feature. This feature makes it so that the thermostat will only consider a sensor in the overall temperature calculation if someone walks past it. If we want the sensors to provide the thermostat with an average temperature throughout the home regardless of occupancy, we will need to disable this feature.
