Make beef tallow! This is probably the easiest way to make homemade tallow. You can run in it in the crock pot too and when all the fat has released and water cooked out you can add a little salt to it and then put it in the fridge to solidify. When it hardens, that salt will fall to the bottom and the idea is it will drag some of the remaining impurities with it and then you just scrape off the bottom layer and you’ve got some good beef tallow.
