Making a garden Pansy cane pattern with polymer clay. The flower has five petals, so I need three different patterns/canes to recreate the flowers in miniature. I start with three multicolored Skinner blends made from colored polymer clay. Then I model the leaf shape and add some details. All that’s left to do is reduce the size and cut it. Made from oven-hardening polymer clay using the cane technique. This is a technique in which colored modeling clay is assembled to create a filigree pattern.
