When I was asked to draw Lila I couldn't wait to get started because she had such a beautiful shiny coat. This is one of my absolute favourite things to draw. There is one main area I always focus on with any portrait and that is contrast. Good contrast; dark shadows and bright highlights is what makes this fur look realistic.
