This is the easiest and most precise technique for inserting a lapped zipper. This high-end zipper technique looks great when inserting a side zipper into trousers or a back zipper on a gown. It's especially useful when you have several layers at the waistline and an invisible zipper won't be sturdy enough. Some more tips: -If you are using a longer zipper than you need, use the stop at the bottom and leave the excess at the waistline. You can trim it off when you add your waistband or facing. -
