A Georgia ICU nurse is being hailed a 'hero' after adopting her patient's dog. Nurse Kimberly Still cared for the dog’s owner in her final days. As she got to know the patient's family, Still learned how much she loved her chihuahua, Jax. When the owner died, she tracked the dog down at an animal shelter outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Her original plan was to make sure Jax had a good home. When the nurse took him home, she knew she never wanted to get rid of him. | Inside Edition

Joaquin Lopez was just out for his daily afternoon walk last week when he didn’t return. Missing for more than 24 hours, Lopez’s family was frantically searching for the 79-year-old, who is living with dementia. A stranger found him miles away from home, and made sure he got back safely. “I just want to know who she is.
