Our bee-spy, Mira, found this little bee in the Flow Office garden today collecting fluff off these flower stalks. 🌸🐝 We believe it is a South African Carder Bee (Afranthidium repetitum). The invasive Carder Bee collects fluffy fibres from plant leaves and makes a nest that resembles yellowish lumps of cotton wool.
