On October 31, 2008, a person or persons, that went by the name of Satoshi Nakamoto, published the Bitcoin White Paper. It introduced the world to the concept of cryptocurrency and blockchain. It highlighted the advantages of Bitcoin over the traditional banking system. It spoke of a decentralized financial system that doesn’t rely on intermediaries.
