what tf even is splitting?? splitting is a defense mechanism those people who have bpd tend to use. it’s when your brain switches over to black & white thinking and there is no gray area. so extremities only. like “he hates me so much” or “he loves me so much”. you can split on people, yourself, objects such as school, your pets, even politics. borderline personality disorder is extremely complex. but the first step to conquering the disorder, is learning and identifying how it affects you. foll
