Seeing colour variations in a species is not unusual but I have to say that this is the first time I have seen a Little Red with a black head! Miss Claire was pregnant when she came into care after being rescued by Jo off a barbed wire fence. Her baby girl was born soon after she came to us and although mum was so dark, her daughter was a lovely rusty brown which is more typical Little Red colouring.
