Little tech tip: Early Ford 780s have a shorter choke horn. Presumably they did this for some airflow benefit. In 2025 it causes some issues however as almost every one of these purchased as a core is missing the original choke hardware. Limitations to this: -You cannot run a manual choke with these, or at least not well. -early 4781 double pumpers had a similar choke horn, that said I have found those parts to be incompatible with these carbs. -specific choke rod and choke plate are required fo
