CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Pennsylvania American Water will be distributing bottled water for customers impacted by the low pressure and/or lack of water service in the Mechanicsburg water system.

After eight years of planning, work has begun on the water tower, pumping station and distribution center for the Vernon Center Water District, which should be ready for home hookups within the year.
